My daughter was referred to Mid-Valley by our Kaiser Orthodontist for extractions. We had a consult and the receptionist demanded $250 after our appointment. She said our insurances wouldn't cover it. I refused and we left. My Delta Dental insurance covered the consultation. After the consultation claim was settled, Mid-Valley reached out to me to schedule my daughter's appointment. They refused to schedule the appointment if I didn't give them $465 to secure the appointment. They also told me that I would have to pay another $4189 when we came in for her appointment. They told me I would be refunded anything that Kaiser and Delta Dental chose to pay later. I was told that Mid-Valley doesn't have to bill insurance for their patients so they don't extend this courtesy until after the patient has paid in full. I'm sure Dr. Swiderski is an excellent oral surgeon, but his office's billing practices are very shady. Unfortunately after paying for orthodontia, we didn't have another $4654 to also pay for oral surgery. Especially given that our insurances will cover 100% of that cost. We have excellent coverage and preauthorizations from both insurances. It's very unfortunate that we went through the entire process with Kaiser and Mid-Valley just to be refused services without a cash payment up front. I hope this review can help other Kaiser families stay away from this practice. Don't waste your time trying to get services here. I also hope my experience here will encourage Kaiser to partner with a different provider in our area. Dr. Swiderski's office obviously has very little confidence in Kaiser to pay their patient's claims.

I love Dr Swiderski and his staff. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is professional and knowledgeable, and Dr Swiderski is da bomb! I don't think I could ever trust another oral surgeon. And he has a good bubbly personality!

Kind, compassionate nurses, the doctor is an amazing surgeon! Everyone is professional. I highly, very highly recommend their help. Los servicios, soy profesionales y vale cada dolar que uno paga! Each dollar you pay is worth it, They have a credit card that you can pay without interest during 6 meses.
