About Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 6 additional years of post-doctoral, hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Pederson manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial region. He practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery, fractures of the facial bones, orofacial lacerations and removal of teeth including wisdom teeth. He also diagnoses and treats facial pain, orofacial pathology and infections, TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of dental surgical implant procedures.

Our staff is well-trained in assisting with general anesthesia and IV sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Dr. Pederson is licensed by the State of Oregon to administer general anesthesia and IV sedation in the office. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Office Staff

The office staff at Dr. Pederson's practice are concerned about your well-being and are eager to assist with your individual needs. The surgical staff are experienced certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants. All staff members are CPR certified. The business office personnel are ready to assist patients with appointment and account information.
